I’ve had this on my “to do” for years, I just never got around to it until recently.
Nearly everyone that uses a NetDIMM uses it with a Raspberry Pi. And for those that use Chunksin’s WiPiNetbooter, your Pi will just rest around the NetDIMM area loosely.
Some very smart folks on Discord created a 3D model to allow you to mount the Raspberry Pi on top of the NetDIMM plate. Thank you XeD and Dyoing (for remixing XeD’s original Pi4 base to work with a 3b)
Pi3b with the OpenJVS Pi Hat
Made a custom ethernet cable to suit the length required for the mod
Also made a custom power cable for the pi to be connected to the 5V on CN12 of the Sega Naomi so the pi powers on when the Naomi powers on
Nice clean easy mod
Due to the Pi Hat, there is just enough clearance in a Sega New Net City, but the main thing is it fits! 🙂
